He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henry Roser and Mable Arnold Hoff; and his sister Marie Lane. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Moore Roser of Newbern, Tennessee; his sons, Robert Phillip Roser (Sheila) of RoEllen and Timothy Lee Roser of Newbern, Tennessee; his sister Carol Colbert of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Brandon Roser (Brianna), Krista Roser and Andrew Roser; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Roser, Eli Roser and Cooper Atkins.
