It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene D. Autry of Newbern, Tennessee, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oulion Autry and Lorena Williams Autry; his wife Patricia Carter Autry; his brothers, Gerald Lynn Autry and Freddie Autry; and his nephew Randy Parnell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Autry Hopgood (Glenn) of Newbern and Patty Autry Odell (Chris) of Union City, Tennessee; his siblings, Darrell Autry (Linda) of Hornbeak, Larry Autry (Melissa) of Newbern, Tennessee and Cloie Caviness of Newbern; his grandchildren, Scotty Odell, Tyler Odell (Krystal), Dakota Odell, Bryan Odell, Ryan Hopgood and Dylan Hopgood; and his great grandchild Emma Kate Odell.
