It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Willetta Dennison of Newbern, Tennessee, born in Trimble, Tennessee, who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis McManus and Emily Carmen Peal Newell; her husband W. F. "Tom" Dennison; her sons, Tommy Dennison, Rickey Dennison, Jeff Dennison and Dennis Dennison; her granddaughter Carrie Dennison; and her siblings, James Otis McManus and Martha Ann Whaley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Maupin (Jerry) of Newbern and Michele McClain (Ron) of Newbern, Tennessee; her siblings, Johnny Newell of Red Bay, Alabama and Cathy Frost of Obion, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Barry Maupin, Lyndsay Maupin, Thomas Dennison, Emilee Dennison, Rickey Dennison, II, Deven McClain and Grayson McClain; and her great grandchildren, Cain Johnson (Shelby), Jaycob Johnson, Pollyanna Dennison, Morgan Dennison, Ava Sanders, Lucy Dennison, Olivia McClain, William Maupin and Walynn Maupin. She is also survived by "Granny" as pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
