Allen of Newbern, Tennessee, born in Dyer, Tennessee, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Houston and Carlie Campbell Houston; her husband Harold G. "Slim" Allen; her granddaughter Penny Smith; and her siblings, Junior Houston, Frances Morris and Mary Lee Dew.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Smith (Larry) and Wanda Rogers (Joe); and her grandchildren, Jacob Rogers (Lesley), Wesley Smith (Kelia) and Amy Hawks (Bradley). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
