He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; and his brother Daniel Puraty of Akron, Ohio.. He is survived by: his children, Dan Puraty, David Puraty (Joanna) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Dianne Davison (Joe) of Dyersburg and Tina Puraty (Tony) of Greenville; his sister Joy Martter of Akron, Ohio; his grandchildren, Laura Boals (Matt), Justin Puraty, Candice Puraty Starnes and Rachel Stover (Steven); and his great grandchildren, Noah Stover, Layla Boals, Reece Stover and Sam Boals.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Dyersburg/Dyer County Humane Society or the Wounded Warriors Project.
