He is survived by: his wife Pat Helm Boyers of Newbern, Tennessee; his children, Jeff Boyers of Dyersburg, Richie Petty (Jessica) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Lisa Tilley (Joey) of Medina and Angie Stafford (Matt) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his sisters, Ruth Ann Haines (Russell) of Mt. Morris and Barbara Strosnider (Mike) of Florissant, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Lauren Moody, Cayden Stafford, Drae Stafford, Kaleb Petty, Haylee Petty, Madilyn Petty Slater, Haley Petty, Anna Caroline Tilley and Eli Tilley.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
