It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Funderburk of Newbern, Tennessee, born in Wallins, Kentucky, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gross and Effie Saylor Gross; her husband John Louie Funderburk; and her grandchildren, Charles "Eric" Funderburk and Carrie Ann Dennison.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Funderburk (Pam) of Newbern, TN, Terry Funderburk (Debbie) of Dyersburg, TN and Johnny Funderburk (Tracy) of Dyersburg, TN; and her grandchildren, Claire Ladd Funderburk, Blake Funderburk, Thomas Dennison, Jason Funderburk, Brandon Funderburk, Adam Funderburk and Hope Reed. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
