He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen "Jimmy" Reeves and Dora May Smith Reeves; his son Bobby Allen Reeves; and his siblings, Homer Reeves and Margarite Reeves.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Cagle (Alvin) of Newbern, Tennessee and Scott Reeves (Bethany) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; and his sister Corine Walker of Dyersburg, Tennessee. He is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
