He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Roger and Hazel Mae Day; his siblings, James C Day and Lois Elaine Day Hurst; and his niece Miranda Mae Rowe.
He is survived by: his siblings, Roger Day (Lucille) and Carolyn Hurst (Jerry); his siblings-in-law, Betty and Larry Hurst of New Tazewell, TN.; his stepdaughter Joy Bridges; and his stepgrandchildren, Maggie Campbell, Ashlie Campbell and Sami Campbell.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel (1106 TN-33, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (1106 Nell St, Tazewell, TN 37879).
