He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Shipley and Cecil Shipley (Arnold); and his siblings, Sam Shipley, Carl Shipley, Doug Shipley and Ann LeTellier.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law James Minton (Ruby); his daughter Leigh Ann Shipley Yount; his sister Ruby Minton (James) of Monroe, MI.; and his nieces and nephews, Bill Shipley (Vannah), Jim Shipley (Melanie), Rick Shipley (Mona), Mike Shipley, Lavonda Walker (Steve), Beth Hugueley (Dan) and Becky Leach (Mark).
