She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie H. Ellison; her parents, Sarah Cunningham Whitaker and James E. Whitaker; and her brothers, Wade Whitaker, Claude Whitaker, Charles Whitaker (Doc) and Ray Whitaker. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
