He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Cole and Quentin Cole; his sisters, Betty Smith and Jane Killion; and his sister-in-law Betty Ruth Beason.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy June Cole; his children, Michelle Cole Curtis and Byron Cole (Janie); his grandchildren, Caitlin Curtis, Amanda Curtis, Tommy Lee Curtis and Rachel Cole (Tony Earl); his great grandchildren, Bryce, Erin, Alayne, Benjamin, Olivia, Alden and Ryker; and his sister Darlene Wright (Frank).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 7:00 AM at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel (937 S Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A procession was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coffey Funeral Home (937 S Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Shoffner Cemetery in Sharps Chapel.
