It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Bray Snively of New Tazewell, Tennessee, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Maxine Bray has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Coldiron and Virginia Coldiron. She is survived by: her husband Roscoe Bray; her children, Bo Bray (Glenda), Mary Ruth Paul (Paul) and Rachel Simmons (Roy); and her grandchildren, Bridgette Vickers (Frankie), Scott Bray (Amanda), Jessica Smith (Rodney), Maryanne Gregory (James), Justin Simmons (Hannah) and Cassie Cox (Aubry).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Poplar Grove Baptist Church (2322 Hwy 830, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
