She was predeceased by: her sons, Wayne Reece Melton and Roy Lee Melton; her parents, Raymond Leedy and Bertha Leedy; her siblings, Louvada Whitaker Miller (Dood), Cornie Ellison, Beulah Sturgill, Nell Laws, Birdie, Hattie Leedy, James Leedy (Jim), Junior Leedy and Bill Leedy; her grandson Jamie Melton; and her son-in-law David Parks.

She is survived by: her daughters, Erma Parks and Dorothy Harrison (Phil) of Sneedville, TN; her grandchildren, L'von Janeway (Rick), Michelle Graves (Paul), Pam Masingo (Danny), Eddie Parks (Jennifer), Rodney Melton (Melissa), Chris Melton, Susan Simpson, Kristy Cantwell (Nick), Steven Harrison (Courtney) and Marsha Christian (Wesley) of Sneedville, TN; her brother-in-law Joe Laws of Harrogate, TN; her daughter-in-law Judy Painter Melton; and her siblings, Donna Mae Atkins of New Tazewell, Bobbie Ruiz (Domingo), Judy Painter (Larry) of Tazewell, TN and Paul Leedy of Tazewell, TN. She is also survived by grandkids, great-great grandkids and nieces and nephews.
