He was predeceased by: his son Jimmy Joe Ellis; his father Jimmy Ellis; his grandparents, William, Joe and Ivy Ellis; and his aunts and uncles, Claude Ramsey, Clyde Ramsey, Kyle Ellis, Loucilla Ramsey, Sherry Jones and Peggy Cheek.
He is survived by: his pets, Abbie and Halley Jo; his son Christopher Ellis (Samantha); his grandchildren, Abel, Penelope, Lori and Baby Ellis; his mother Birdie Parkey (Ellis); his siblings, Jimmy Junior Ellis (Eve), Adam Ellis (Laura), Steven Ellis and Connie Ellis; and his nephew Adam Ramsey. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to help with the funeral.
