He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Poore and Rosamae Poore; his mother-in-law Velma Lane; his siblings, Dillis Poore, Clay Poore (Wanda Atkins Poore) and Cynthia Russell; and his sisters-in-law, Imogene Poore, Barbara Sue Keck Poore and Barbara Hurst Poore.

He is survived by: his wife Stella Bull Poore; his son Jonathan Poore; his grandson Jakson Poore; his brothers, Floyd Poore (Louise), Mack Poore and Billy Poore; and his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Poore and Charles Russell. He is also survived by many other relatives; friends and brothers and sisters.
