It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Whitaker Derreberry of New Tazewell, Tennessee, who passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Coolidge Whitaker and Cassie Whitaker. She is survived by: her husband Steve Derreberry; her parents-in-law, Ernest and Eunice Derreberry; her sons, Tandy (Mandy Derreberry McKamey) and Kari Derreberry; her grandchildren, Mick Ellis, John Derreberry and Jace Derreberry; her siblings, Joan Donahue (Andy) and Doyle Wayne Whitaker (Karen); her siblings-in-law, Linda and Jim Welch; and her close friends, Walter Gross and Jackie Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the family to help with medical expense.
