She was predeceased by: her husband Doyle Lynn Wells; her parents, Clarence Smith and Lucille Smith; her sister Patricia Ann Smith; her nephew Jason Buchanan; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Buchanan, Don Wells and Dan Neely.
She is survived by: her son Bradley Wells; her granddaughters, Jordan and Morgan Wells; her siblings, Stanley "Buddy" Smith (Linda), Teddy Smith and Kathy Finkelstein (Milton); and her sister-in-law Pat Neely. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and treasured friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Overholt Funeral Home (1106 TN-33, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Duncan Cemetery (1708 Clouds Rd, New Tazewell, TN 37825).
