David Harris Obituary

General David P. Harris, Husband, Father and Papa, age 84, of New Tazewell, Tennessee, died March 4, 2023 at Annandale Healthcare Center.

He was retired after 20 years in the Army. He also was a coal miner with Bell Co Coal in Kentucky. David Harris was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

Harris was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Harris and Jewel Poole, and his brother, Eric Stark.

He is survived by his wife Linda Harris, daughters Kimberly Richards and Michelle Allen, son David Harold Harris, 6 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren. He will be brought home from Virginia to Tennessee and a celebration of life will be done at the home of Linda and David Harris in Tennessee in April 2023.
