He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Upton and Maude Upton; his son Joseph Clark Upton; and his siblings, Verlon Upton and Mary Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Upton; his children, Alan Drew Upton and Joana Upton; his stepdaughter Crystal Ikerd; his granddaughter Juliet Wallace; and his siblings, Judy McCreedy, Rufus Upton (Charlene), Wayne Upton and Lee Upton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
