He was predeceased by: his wife Inell Helton; his parents, Arthur Brogan and Jane Helton; his son Darrell Helton; his granddaughter Jessica Helton; his great grandchild Makinley Helton; and his brothers, Willard, Pete, Walter and John Helton.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Barnard (Johnny), Greg Helton and Keith Helton; his grandchildren, Cynthia Ray (Gary), Brad Barnard, Josh Helton (Amie), Jamey Helton, Ryan Helton (Alisha) and Samantha Helton; his great grandchildren, Raven Hipshire (Seth), Colin Ray, Emma Ray, Jalynn Brooks and Eliza Helton; his daughter-in-law Melissa Helton; and his sister-in-law Louise Helton.
