He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Parks and Lincoln Parks; and his wives, Lucille Parks and Bonnie ParksMother. He is survived by: his stepmother Virgie Parks; his siblings, Silas, Hubert, Cecil, David, Junior, Wheeler, Clayton Parks, Ellen Noe, Mae Brooks, Ruth Brooks (Basil), Lloyd Parks (Brenda), Kastel Parks and Herbert Parks (Sue); and his nieces, Misty Brooks and Angela Massengill.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Coffey Funeral Home (937 S Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel (937 S Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home.
