He was predeceased by: his wife Avon Longmire; his parents, Edgar Longmire and Grace Longmire; and his siblings, Earl, Walker Longmire and Norma McElhaney.
He is survived by: his siblings, Conard Longmire, Carl Longmire (Gladys) of Rutledge, Minnie Greenlee of Rutledge, Lois Anderson of Russellville and Ledena Roach of Talbott; his siblings-in-law, Martha Jo Riddle, Ann Bohanan (Milo) and James Riddle (Ruby) of New Market; and his nephew Jeremy Roach.
