It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Kirk Pettit of New Market, Tennessee, born in Mohawk, Tennessee, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Estle "Bub" Kirk and Mary Alice Kirk (Bible); her husband Doyle Pettit; her sons, Tony, Mark and Doug; her daughters-in-law, Gabriella, Tina and Melanie; her grandchildren, Kate (Ben Eller), Jessika, Rebekah (Britton Robinson), Molly (Alex Hall), Maggie and Grayson Pettit; and her great grandchild John William Pettit.
