He was predeceased by: his wife Hedy Mae Cook; his son Ronald Thomas Cook II; his parents, Dovie Cook and Andrew Cook; and his brothers, Jack and Bobby Lynn Cook.
He is survived by: his son Roy Cook; his daughter-in-law Luz Gongora; his grandchildren, Andrew Livingston Cook and Stacy Lyn Cook; his sister Gracie Buchanan; and his sister-in-law Judy Nichols. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested money be donated to homeless veterans, food banks, or any animal rescue organization.
