He was predeceased by: his father James Ray; and his sister Doris Ray. He is survived by: his wife Donna Ray; his children, Lucretia Berry (Mike) and Jamie Whaley; his mother Fronie Ray; his grandsons, Seth Gibson, Nathan and Daniel Whaley; his stepgrandsons, Hunter Berry and Tristan Leek; his sister Delores Cureton (Alvin); and his cousin Rodney Miller (Tammy). He is also survived by several nieces nephews.
