He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Fielden and Kate Fielden; his former wife Rhoda Lockhart Fielden; his son-in-law Keith Fielden; and his siblings, Gladys Davis, Pauline Ballinger, Clyde Fielden, Eula Fielden and Robert Fielden.
He is survived by: his wife Erma Jo Fielden; his children, Rebecca Fielden and Joseph T. Fielden (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Taylor Early (D'Anne), Elizabeth Casto, Katherine Sutton (Brian), Sarah Smith (Brian) and Abigail Marshall (Chris); his great grandchildren, Dane Moore, Celia Marsh-Delk, Grace Early and Harper Marshall; his daughter-in-law Georgie Fielden; and his stepsons, Billy and Steve Lane. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Derbyshire Baptist Church, Lakewood Manor, or Carson-Newman University.
