He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ratliff and Bunia Whitt Ratliff; and his grandson Brandon Ratliff. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Ann Ratliff; his children, Kermit Ratliff (Melissa), David Ratliff (Brenda), Patty Foster (Boone), Chris Ratliff (Margaret), Freddie Ratliff and Casey Whetstone (Stephanie); and his siblings, Linda (Bill Duke) and Ron Dimaline.
