He is survived by: his children, Kimberlee Gray (Darryl) and Hugh Allen West III; his grandchildren, Hannah, Emily, Aaron and Toby; and his sisters, Barbara Reagan and Tressia Nicley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
