He is survived by: his wife Nola Jean Smelcer; his daughter Kim Smelcer Ferguson (Shane); his grandchildren, Abbie Shanea Ferguson and Erin Elaine Ferguson; his brother James Smelcer (Sue); his mother-in-law Louise Pressley; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Pressley and Bobby Pressley (Donald Whaley). He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
