He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shelton and Irene Shelton; and his brother Bill Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Shelton; his daughters, Kimberly Shelton Johnson and Heather Latham (Scott); his granddaughters, Haley Shelton-Gilmore (David) and Gracie Denton; his brother Ronnie Shelton (Linda); his nephew Jonathan Shelton of Iowa; and his sister-in-law Barbara Cook Shelton.
