He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Pruitt and Velma Pruitt; and his siblings, Betty Jo Roderick and George Edward Pruitt. He is survived by: his wife Helen Pruitt; his children, Sherry Riddle (Eddie), Eugene Pruitt (Jamie), Kim Whitlock (Johnny), Jeff Pruitt (Robin), Jennifer Pruitt (Faith Thomas) and William Pruitt; his grandchildren, Chad Pruitt (Cierra), Brad Pruitt (Hannah Martin), Crystal Byar, Josh Nicholson (Cassie) and McKala DeLangis (Cade); his great grandchildren, RaeLynne, Weston Pruitt, Kyler, Kyzen Nicholson, Ford and Lincoln DeLangis; and his brother Sammy Pruitt (Jean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
