He was predeceased by: his wife Naomi Ruth Ball; his son Randy Ball; his parents, Rufus Ball and Jessie Smith; and his siblings, Edith Ball and Danny Ball.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Courtney (Charles), Aileen Beasley (Clifford), Glenda Bailey, Sherrie Brooks, Sheila Wilson (Mark), Freddy Ball (Karla), Mark Ball (DeeDee) and Anthony Ball (Mary). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
