She was predeceased by: her husband Riley Ballinger; her parents, McKinley Hankins and Lillie Maude Hankins; and her siblings, Haskell, Don Hankins and Leona Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Greene (Freddie) of New Market and David Ballinger of New Market; her grandchildren, Brian Greene (Brittany) of Knoxville, Douglas of New Market, Christopher Ballinger (Ashlyn) of New Market and Jennifer Hull of Virginia; and her sister-in-law Agnes Trotter. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
