She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Varnell and Daisy Carter Varnell; and her siblings, Clarence, Ralph Varnell, Sarah Kate Northern, Margaret Varnell, Altha Puckett, Rula Varnell, Vera Varnell and Bonnie Crooke.
She is survived by: her sisters, Maude Lindsey-Herrell and Wilma Ellison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and many friends.
