He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie L. Davis; his son Phillip Davis; and his parents, Pearl Davis and Buttle Davis. He is survived by: his daughters, Gina Dabney (Eric) and Darlene Lanford (Glenn); his grandchildren, Faith Jelley, Tim Dabney, Christopher Liong, Phil Davis, Danielle Haehn and Jeff Lanford; his great grandchildren, Katlyn Davis, Lexi, Zane Douglas, Dylan Hutto, Chelsea Lanford, Ashlyn Davis, Lauryn Gann, Max and Miles Jelley; and his siblings, Maggie Acuff, Ken Davis, Carolyn Chamberlain, Sedric Davis and Terry Davis. He is also survived by several nieces nephews.
