He is survived by: his wife Joyce Scarbrough Layman; his children, Colonel Chad Layman (Tina), Adria Cantwell (Daniel), Jessica Wilson (Johnny) and Kelsey Tolbert (Steven); his stepchildren, April Reed (Rob), Cory Maynard (Juwann), Michael Dixon (Claudia) and Joshua Fry; his grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, Angelina Alora Alea (Ricky), Devin, Connelly, Aniya, Kinsley, Stryder, Stryker, Chandler, Cadence, Catalina, Calleigh, Abriel, Isaiah, Maddy, Levi, Gavin, Silas and Myles; and his siblings, Arletta Beasley (Jay), Anita Hurst (Sammy) and Howard Layman.
