He is survived by: his children, Julius Lara (Maryem), Barb Lara (Troy), Emily Lara (Justin) and Brittney Lara; his grandchildren, Everett, Summar, Noah, Deen, Gabriel, Lillian, Audrey, Rose, Sebastian and London; his sister Laura Hewett (Christina Lara); and his mother-in-law Abuelita Lourdes Sanchez.
