He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma "Dolly" Ruth Taylor; his parents, Robert Taylor and Laura Mae Walker Taylor; and his sisters, Deloris Talley, Betty Cornette and Eva Sue Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Taylor and Darlene Greenlee (Jim); his grandchildren, Nicholas Dale Taylor, Jessica Moody, Matthew Dale Taylor (Rachele), Kristen Danielle Sluss (James), Megan Moody and Tasha King (Derrick); his great grandchildren, Karlee Nelson, Claire Ruth King and Kinsley Sluss; and his sister Arlene Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
