With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlie Patterson of New Market, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Patterson and Vesta Patterson; and his siblings, Ruben Jones, Johnny Patterson, Irene Hodge, Kathleen Bishop, Virginia Hixon, Pauline Mayes and Viola Colley.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Patterson; his sister Ruby Smith of New Market; and his siblings-in-law, Frieda Patterson of Jefferson City, Brenda Wood and Lee Bishop of Talbott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fielden Funeral Home (910 Churchview St, New Market, TN 37820). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mill Springs Cemetery (2510 TN-92, Jefferson City, TN 37760).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mill Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2510 Hwy 92 Jefferson City, TN 37760.
