He is survived by: his children, Kathy Sawyers of Lexington, KY, Regina Dodson (Don) of Florence, KY, Tim Napier (Peggy) of Newport, TN, Terry Napier (Mary) of Knoxville, TN, Tom Napier of Leslie County, KY and Pam Sturgill of Harlan; his sister Maryann Blevins of Harlan, KY; and his grandchildren, David Howard, Jason Howard, Eric Bolton, Joey Bolton, Krista Perry, Katelyn Dodson, Don Dodson III, Lisa Dodson, Jennifer Dodson, TJ Napier, Tiffany Turner, Bobby Cupp, Chandler Napier, Sarah Eldridge, Ashley Napier, Heather Napier, Amie "Tootie" Ditty, Beth Cheek, Cortney Sturgill, Chance Sturgill, Rose Sturgill and Lucas Parker.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ministry Church (1570 US-25W #70, Dandridge, TN 37725). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evarts Memorial Gardens (6000 KY-38, Evarts, KY 40828).
