He is survived by: his wife Patsy Patterson; his children, Linda (Robert Owens), Gertie Howard, Candace Tackett, Pam Mitchell, Edward Patterson and Billy Cupp; his son-in-law Mike Walker; his grandchildren, Brian, Tanita Owens, Robert Owens, Jonathan Owens, Bryan Patterson, Destiny Woods, Avery Tackett, Brinley Tackett, Isaiah Owens, Angalia Hatfield, Rylee Quarles, Chris, Kiearra Mitchell, Katielyn Mitchell, Heidi Hayes Owens, Alaigha Hickey, Haylynn Owens, Keaton Owens, Evie Owens and Kendrick Patterson; and his siblings, Billy Reed, Mary Reed, Sharon Reed and Debbie. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
