He was predeceased by: his parents, Nay Courtney and Mary Alice Courtney; and his siblings, Marvel, John (Connie) and Rosa Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Courtney; his children, Stanley Courtney (Donna), Jeff Courtney (Michelle) and Deborah Tomm; his grandsons, Joe (Siera), Matt (Catie), Evan Courtney (Katie), Alex and Dylan Tomm (Jersey); his great grandchildren, Ella, Ana Beth, Tessa, Brilynn, Lyza, Jackson and Liam; his brother Truman Courtney (Ruby); and his siblings-in-law, Bennie Mae Courtney and Lawrence Roach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:45 AM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens (812 E Broadway Blvd, Jefferson City, TN 37760).
