He is survived by: his wife Patsy Patterson; his children, Linda (Robert Owens), Gertie Howard, Candace Tackett, Pam Mitchell, Edward Patterson and Billy Cupp; his son-in-law Mike Walker; his grandchildren, Brian, Tanita Owens, Robert Owens, Jonathan Owens, Bryan Patterson, Destiny Woods, Avery Tackett, Brinley Tackett, Isaiah Owens, Angalia Hatfield, Rylee Quarles, Chris, Kiearra Mitchell, Katielyn Mitchell, Heidi Hayes Owens, Alaigha Hickey, Haylynn Owens, Keaton Owens, Evie Owens and Kendrick Patterson; his siblings, Billy Reed, Mary Reed, Sharon Reed, Debbie Reed, Cynthia Reed and Teresa Reed; his stepsister Teresa; his siblings-in-law, Margie Bennett and Will Valentine; and his close friends, Ron Buell, Cowboy Wallace and Darryell Whitehead. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
