She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolphus Fox and Clara Fox; her husband Gerald "Jerry" Freiberg; her siblings, Dan Fox and Margie Fox; and her grandson Paul Hilyer.
She is survived by: her children, David Hilyer (Ann) of Dandridge, Joann Horner of New Market, Martha McCardel (Wayne) of Lehigh, FL, Donnie Hilyer (Cindy) of New Market, Nikki Freiberg of Dandridge and Terry Freiberg (Susan) of Alachua, FL; and her brother Steve Fox of Albany, GA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren; and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to Serenity House, 421 N. High Street, Morristown, TN 37816.
