It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxie Leon Gidcomb of New Johnsonville, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosie Armstrong Gidcomb and Thurston Cleo Gidcomb; his wife Barbara Gidcomb; his son Thurston Leon Gidcomb; and his sister Judy Victory.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Simpson of New Johnsonville; his grandchildren, Jonathon Smith, Brittnie Gidcomb, Brandon Gidcomb, Jessica Smith and Madison Gidcomb; and his great grandchildren, Gaven Bohannon, Jaylee Smith, Jayla Smith, Gage Smith and Jaivin Smith. He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters.
