It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ann Himes (New Johnsonville, Tennessee), who passed away on January 27, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Forrest and Addie Dreaden Forrest (Clarence "Cotton" Himes); her son Anthony Dean Himes; and her siblings, Robert Forrest, Leslie Forrest, Edgar "Moon" Forrest, Tom Forrest, Lucille Herndon and Edith Watts.

She is survived by: her son Billy Ray Himes of New Johnsonville, TN; her sister Gladys May O'Neal of Waverly, TN.; her niece Jan Dodd (Robbie) of New Johnsonville, TN.; and her close friends, Eddie and Barbara Breeden.
