It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Swanson Ring of New Johnsonville, Tennessee, born in Spring Hill, Tennessee, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Ring and Louise Warren Ring; and his brother W. T. "Travis" Ring. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Ring (Sharon), Angela DeCarlo (Chris), Melanie Wilson (Freddy), Allison Forrester (Bucky) and Monty Ring; his grandchildren, Neely, Erin, Emery, Ellen, Rachel, Brady, Lucas, Brock, Brennan, Kayla and Justin; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Luke and McKaleigh.
The family requested no visitation due to COVID but will hold a graveside service for family and friends on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:00am at Box-Plant Cemetery in New Johnsonville, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital in memory of Mann. 501 St. Judes Place Memphis, TN 38105.
