He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Newton Johns (Johnny) and Eleanor Montgomery Johns (Lady). He is survived by: his children, Melissa Johns Miller (Jerry) of Murfreesboro, TN, Marla Johns Martin (Greg) of Mt. Juliet, TN and Gary Lance Johns of Waverly, TN. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
