He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Oxier and Wilma Waugh Oxier; his son Charles L. Oxier; and his brother Don Waugh. He is survived by: his wife Dean Oxier; his siblings, Dave Oxier (Debbie), Carol Sherwood of Columbus, OH and Judith David; his great-niece Sue Engle; and also, Colt and Gracie.
